44 eligible ballots found for the 22nd district's congressional election

On December 1st State Supreme Court Justice Scott DelConte was informed that the Chenango County Board of Elections had found 55 votes that had not yet been accounted for. 11 of the ballots were ineligible, because they were from unregistered voters.
Chenango County Attorney Alan Gordon asked DelConte over mail how canvassing of the new votes should be handled, and the judge has not yet given a response.
It was not said who the ballots were cast for. However until now, Claudia Tenny held a slim lead over Anthony Brindisi. As of Monday, the counted votes were 155,492 for Tenney, and 155,480 for Brindisi.
