Boating accident leaves one dead, one injured

Yesterday at around 5 p.m., multiple emergency crews responded to the scene of a boating accident at Stillwater Reservoir.

According to Ron Johnston, Webb Police Chief, one person involved in the accident perished. Another suffered minor injuries as well as hypothermia, and was sent to a hospital in Lowville to be treated.

The cause of the accident Is still being investigated.
