Tuesday morning, a water main broke in Herkimer near Carney’s Corners on North Washington Street. While the main was repaired, a boil water advisory was issued for Mary Street, North Washington Street from Mary to Green streets, Herkimer County DMV building and the Herkimer County Office Building. The Herkimer County Office Building, Herkimer County Courthouse and the Herkimer County Sheriff's Office are also all closed due to the water main break until noon.
