Saturday, at around 7 p.m., a 22-year-old in a Mercedes named Rawkan D. Marshall going south on State Route 12 went to pass another vehicle, when another vehicle was coming the other direction, and the two collided head-on.
The other vehicle carried 38-year-old Sarah J. Stinebrickner, the driver, and a passenger, 42-year-old Cary A. Croniser.
The driver was taken to the hospital and is in serious condition.
Croniser was pronounced dead at the scene.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
