Early Morning Fire Destroys Home In New York Mills

Fire crews responded to a garage fire at 63 Campbell Ave. in New York Mills around 3 AM this morning. After starting in the garage, the fire quickly spread to the rest of the house. And Oneida County Sheriff's deputy helped the occupants get out of the house. New York Mills, Yorkville, Whitesboro, New Hartford, Maynard, and Willowvale Departments responded to the blaze. The investigation is ongoing.
