FEMA Denies Individual Assistance After Halloween Floods



FEMA has denied assistance to individual property owners affected by the Halloween floods. According to published reports, FEMA has informed Governor Cuomo that they will not provide assistance to residents and homeowners. Back in December, FEMA approved public assistance to 18 counties for repairs to infastructure such as bridges and roads. The Governor has 30 days to appeal the decision.
