On September 25, 2021 at approximately 1:10AM Utica Police units were dispatched to the 800 block of Mohawk St relative to a shots fired investigation. As the units were arriving additional calls were received that three individuals had walked into St. Elizabeth’s Hospital with gunshot wounds.
These males were suffering from wounds in various parts of their bodies; one suffered a gunshot wound to the arm, one suffered wounds to his chest and leg, and the other wounds to his midsection. All suffered serious, but at this time, non-life threatening injuries.
As the investigation was proceeding with these parties, it was learned that a fourth individual had walked into St. Luke’s Hospital suffering from a gunshot wound to his head. This injury also is not considered life threatening.
At this time it is believed that all four parties were at the Mohawk St. location when they sustained the gunshot wounds.
