House fire on route 12 closes lanes

Route 12 was blocked off after a house fire between Kerwin and Taylor roads. The Department of Transportation was on the scene.

When crews arrived, smoke was bellowing from the roof which appeared to be greatly damaged from the fire. It is unknown if the house will be livable in the future.

There were residents inside but no injuries were reported.
