On September 21, 2021, State Police in Lowville arrested Scott A. Danforth, age 50 from Castorland, NY for Assault 1st degree, a class “B” felony, and Criminal Possession of Weapon 3rd degree, a class “D” felony.
Danforth is charged with assaulting a 31-year-old male several times with a baseball bat during a fight that took place on May 30, 2021, in Castorland, NY. The victim suffered several fractured bones and an injury to his eye.
Danforth was arraigned in the town of Turin Court and was remanded to Lewis County Correctional Facility without bail. He is scheduled to appear in the Town of Denmark court on September 22, 2021, at 4:30 pm.
