Man in hospital after fire in Utica

Fire crews arrived to burning home on Oak Street in Utica to smoke bellowing from both the first and second story.

A man was taken to St. Elizabeth Medical Center but was transferred to the Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse, according to WKTV, who also reported seeing several stretchers, and medical personnel at the scene.

More information is planned to be revealed today, but as of now, the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
