Sunday afternoon the Rome Police Department received a call of an unidentified person who had crashed his motorcycle in front of Big Lots on the 1100 block of Erie Boulevard.
It is unknown whether or not the man was injured or to what extent, however the area where the crash happened, Route 46 southbound, between Rapke Road and West Dominick Street was closed off, and has since been reopened. The cause of the crash is still being investigated.
