New Details On Leonardsville Crash

Three people were taken to area hospitals after a head-on crash in Leonardsville on Sunday evening. The Madison County Sheriff's Department told local media that the accident happened just after 6pm near the Horned Dorset Restaurant. A pickup truck collided with an oncoming tractor trailer. The driver of the pickup truck crossed the center line, colliding with the tractor trailer head-on. The driver of the pickup, who is in his 60's, was airlifted to a Syracuse hospital for treatment of multiple broken bones. The passenger of the truck and the driver of the tractor trailer were taken to Utica area hospitals for what are considered non life-threatening injuries. The crash remains under investigation.
