Police Presence Increased At Sauquoit Valley High School After TikTok Threat



According to Sheriff Robert Maciol, in the evening of the 12th of January 2022, the Sheriff’s Office was made aware of a non-direct threat that was posted to a Sauquoit Valley High School Students Tik-ToK account.

An investigation into the threat was conducted by members of the Sheriff’s Office Investigations Unit and found to be not creditable.

School Administration was immediately advised of the investigation and provided assistance during the investigation. There will be an increased Sheriff’s Office presence in and around the School today.

The Sheriff’s Office is committed to providing School Safety and is continuing to work with School Administrations to ensure the safety of the students and staff.
