Potsdam Man arrested on Sex Offense Charges

On April 22, 2022, State Police in Lowville arrested Nicholas R. Cox, age 23 from Potsdam, NY for Criminal Sex Act 3rd degree (E-felony), Forcible Touching (A-misdemeanor), Sexual Abuse 3rd degree ( B-misdemeanor), and Endangering the Welfare of a Child (A-misdemeanor).

Cox is charged with having sexual conduct/contact with a female less than seventeen years of age on March 19, 2022, in the village of Harrisville. He was arraigned in Lewis County Court and released on his own recognizance.
