A 26-year-old man is accused of stealing items from Lock 22 in Verona, and then reselling them.
Dakota B. Mosley of Rome is accused of stealing among various tools, an Apple iPhone from Lock 22. Police say the caller who reported the stolen items said a yellow Volkswagen beetle had frequented the area leading up to the items being stolen.
Troopers searching pawn shops searching for the suspect's recent transactions found that the stolen items had indeed been sold.
Mosley was found and arrested outside Rome on Sunday. He was charged with third-degree burglary, but was released from jail while waiting to be arraigned.
