Rome man charged with animal abandonment


A Rome man is facing animal abandonment charges after investigators say he abandoned a dog outside an animal shelter in Clinton.


The CNYSPCA tells local media a 25-year-old man by the name of Joshua Selinsky is being charged with one count of abandonment of an animal and could face up to a year and a fine of $1,000 of he is convicted of abandoning Bella, the pit bull mix discovered in the parking lot of Spring Farm Cares.
