Yesterday afternoon, a burst of severe thunderstorms hit multiple counties and left nearly 10,000 people without power. Fire crews were called to help with the plenty of downed trees, and Nyseg and National Grid are doing what they van to get power restored.
Herkimer, Oneida, and Otsego counties were affected, with Herkimer taking the biggest power hit at over 5,400 residents without power.
