State Fair requiring masks indoors regardless of vaccination status

The New York State Fair will be requiring masks indoors this year. Onondaga County Executive Ryan McMahon signed an executive order Tuesday, which states that anybody indoors on State Fair grounds must wear a mask, regardless of their vaccination status.

According to McMahon, he signed the order because masks will help create a saver environment for fair goers, and help minimize the spread of COVID-19.

He says “we know that masks, especially for indoor settings, are scientifically proven to help minimize the spread of COVID-19 which is why I have signed this executive order.”
