State Wide Ban On Plastic Bags To Take Effect Soon

The ban on uses of plastic bags for consumers in grocery, retail and convenience stores across the state goes into effect the first of this March. NYSDEC officials advise bringing bags from home to avoid fees on paper bags, cloth bags are the best option since they're reusable, and can be washed.
