Two bars' liquor licenses suspended for violating COVID-19 regulations

According to local media, two bars in the Mohawk Valley have had their liquor licenses suspended for violating COVID-19 pandemic regulations.

On August 14th, investigators with the State Liquor Authority made visits to Dick Smith's Tavern on Schuyler Street, and Side Street on Ostego Street.

During the visit to Side Street investigators say there were around 30 people at the bar, less than half of which were wearing any form of mask or face covering, and were also not eating any food.

During the Visit to Dick Smith's Tavern, investigators said that nearly if not all of the dozen patrons were not wearing masks, including the bartender.
