
On September 11th, 2021 at approximately 8:20PM Utica Police and Utica Fire units were dispatched to a residence on the 700 block of Noyes St relative to several parties struck by gunfire.
Upon arrival it was learned that four males had been struck and were all suffering from wounds to various parts of their body. The severity of the wounds varied as well, however all were transported to St. Elizabeth’s Hospital for emergency care.
At this point no names of any involved party will be released ,however here is an update on the condition of those struck
All males ranging in age from 23 to 39 years.
One individual was struck in both legs, his injuries not considered life threatening
One individual was struck in the abdomen, his injuries are not considered life threatening
One individual was struck in the chest, he is in serious condition, but expected to survive
One individual was struck in the head and is in critical condition with an unknown prognosis
The scene is still being held for a daylight hours canvas and evidence search.
The investigation into the relationship amongst all the parties is on-going and the investigation remains very active at this point.
