Utica Man Arrested After Domestic Dispute



On Friday, October 8rd, 2021, at around 11:49 PM, it was reported to the New Hartford Police Department a physical domestic was occurring in the area of Clintonview Blvd.

It as reported that the male suspect, 23 years old, Nyreek Loadholt had been physical with the female victim, in which he struck the victim several times in the face and choked her. The victim was able to seek help from a neighbor who contacted the New Hartford Police. The victim then witnessed Loadholt smash several windows from her personally owned vehicle. Loadholt fled the scene on foot. The victim was treated at the scene for minor injuries. With the assistance from the Oneida County K9 Officer, a search for Loadholt was conducted. Loadholt was located a short time late in the area and was taken into custody without any further incident.

Nyreek Loadholt was charged Criminal Mischief 3rd Degree (E Felony), Criminal Obstruction of Breathing (A Misd), Endangering the Welfare of a Child (A Misd), Petit Larceny (A Misd) and Harassment in the 2nd Degree (Violation). At the completion of the arrest processing, Loadholt was turned over the Oneida County Jail pending arraignment.
