A man on parole in the city of Utica is facing multiple charges after fleeing from a traffic stop in a stolen vehicle. According to Whitestown police officers patrolling Sauquoit Street when they saw a Chevy trailblazer leave a home that has been known for drug activity. The officers tried to conduct a traffic stop when they noticed a vehicle had its headlights off, but the driver who was identified as 36 year old Arabian Parker attempted to run from the scene. He was then stopped and taken into custody. Police learned that the vehicle he was driving had been reported stolen from Utica. Other stolen items were found in the vehicle. Parker was charged with criminal possession of stolen property, unauthorized use of a vehicle, unlawful fleeing a police officer, resisting arrest, criminal possession of a weapon, obstructing governmental administration. He he was also wanted for a parole violation warrant.
