About
For more than three decades, WVVC has been a voice of hope and encouragement in the Mohawk Valley. What began in 1994 with the vision of the late Rev. Nelson Soggs—who fought tirelessly to bring Christian radio to our community—has grown into a trusted local ministry serving both television and radio audiences.
From those early days overcoming zoning battles and limited resources, WVVC has stayed true to its mission: to share the Good News of Jesus Christ and to uplift our community with faith-filled programming. Today, WVVC Radio broadcasts at 88.1 FM as Revive Radio, and our television station, WVVC TV 40, continues to bring positive, family-friendly content to homes across the region.
While media has changed dramatically since 1994, WVVC has embraced innovation. Our Revive Radio mobile appensures listeners can tune in anywhere, and our television outreach continues to provide wholesome programming in a media landscape that desperately needs light.
Through it all, one thing has never changed—our commitment to the people of the Mohawk Valley. Supported by local businesses, churches, and individuals, WVVC exists because of the community it serves. Together, we carry forward the vision that started it all: to use the power of broadcasting to share hope, truth, and encouragement with every viewer and listener.
